Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also produced films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her early years were spent living in Los Angeles where she came from a middle-class family. Her mother loved films, and she instilled an interest in films in the young girl. Paula was involved in the co-curricular activities of her school and especially captivated by the dramatic arts. Paula was a fan of acting with her classmates and was a part of the school's stage productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous opportunities to act throughout her schooling and she chose acting for a profession. The summer was a blast at the University of Southern California. She won an assignment for PBS to create documentaries over 3 months. After completing the project with success, she began being an assistant in TV documentary production. After that, she began producing documentaries. But she still had a desire to become an actress, even though she was satisfied with her current job. Her career began in acting by playing Will Smith's co-star in romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she has been in a variety of films and television shows.
