Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk - a talented actress, writer, director and producer. Anna Silk's father is British, and her mother is a Turkish Cypriot English expat. Her mother was always watching her work at play rehearsals. Anna was featured in a variety of advertisements as a kid. Anna was able to move to Toronto Ontario in order to pursue her acting. In the decade which followed, she moved to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, in an acting workshop. They became engaged in 2009, after they got married. Anna was a convert to Judaism by then and Seth Cooperman got married in December of 2010 in Fredericton.
